World Music Injection

One genre in which we've seen growing interest over the past year is that broadly referred to as 'World Music'. The term normally means folk or contemporary popular music originating from places outside of the Western countries responsible for the huge bulk of releases. Africa, South America and the Far East for example. We've just acquired a batch of several hundred disks, mostly African in origin, which fall into this genre. You'll see them appearing over the coming weeks.

Jazz on the Up!

Another genre which seems to be growing in popularity is contemporary jazz, where contemporary means anything produced since the mid-70's or so to the present day. We've also just acquired a large batch of interesting vinyl from this period featuring many well-known names and also some not so well known.
